ABSTRACT
The study titled “Profile, Values Orientation and Work Motivation of Public Elementary School Teachers in General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite, SY 2012-2013” was conducted in all elementary school teachers in General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite from December 2012 to February 2013. A total of eighty eight teachers were the respondents of the study.
This aimed to 1) determine the profile of respondents in terms of a) age, b) gender, c) civil status, d) educational attainment, e) length of service and f) salary; 2) determine the level of values orientation of teachers in terms of personal values and professional values; 3) determine the level of work motivation of teachers; 4) determine if there is significant relationship of public elementary school teachers in terms of a) profile and values orientation; b) profile and work motivation c)values orientation and work motivation.
Based on the findings, it shows that most of the respondents belong to forty six years old and above, mostly were female and married. They have Bachelor’s degree in Education and Masteral units in Elementary Education and have been in service for sixteen years and above. Most of them
