When one is fishing, it takes patience, determination, and confidence. Although this may be true these traits may also lead one to fail at fishing. To succeed in fishing one will need to be determined to catch a fish or else it result in one giving up on fishing, which also ties in with patience. Lastly, confidence is key because you will not catch if anything if you do not believe in yourself.
This process is relevant in that most people fish to relieve stress, have fun, or even for their career. Fishing can relieve stress in that it’s time consuming, and calming. People fish to have an enjoyable day, they can stay close to home or even take a road trip. On the other hand, some people fish for their careers, they go out on boats and spend a couple of days competing against other fishers. For example, I tend to fish to relieve stress, and have fun. When I am, stressed fishing helps to relieve it by the calming waters, and being alone for a long time. Even though one spends a long time fishing they can fail to catch anything, or have an excellent fishing trip.

To be successful the pole must have a reel on it so, one can pull in the fish. While you have the rod and reel one must have fishing line to string the pole. A simple line to use would be a 10-15-pound line, so it can withstand the weight of the fish. This is an important step due to the fact that the hook must be attached to something. Next, the hook is important because this is what is going to catch the fish. For example, a simple hook to use would be a treble hook, this consists of three hooks in one. Another simple hook would be a ‘J’ hook, this is a hook in the shape of a ‘J.’ In conclusion, these are the beginning steps of being a successful

A tragic hero is defined as “a [great] man who is neither a paragon of virtue and justice nor undergoes the change to misfortune through any real badness or wickedness but because of some mistake” (“Aristotle”, n.d.). Therefore, a tragic hero has some sort of tragedy that surrounds their life. A tragic hero also makes dramas more interesting and makes readers think. Dramas sometimes either exemplify or refute Aristotle’s definition of a tragic hero. Oedipus by Sophocles exemplifies Aristotle’s definition in four different aspects. The first aspect involves both Oedipus’ ignorance and knowledge of his life situations, the second involves his hamartia, the third involves the actual plot itself, and the fourth involves the characterization of…

Some years it's really tough to catch something, then there was like the summer of ‘07. We caught over 300 fish in that one week. Fishing is really special to me, my grandpa was basically a father figure to me and we bonded through it. He would take me every weekend and fish until the sun goes down. Now that he is gone, I find in myself to keep fishing, since it has become a true love and passion. My uncle has filled that father figure role in my life these past couple years. Shows up to my golf meets, supports my decisions in life, pushes me to be better every day. He is a very careful kind of guy. He is always prepared for the worst, even when we are our fishing in the boat. As the week goes on it becomes more challenging to not sleep in for an extra hour. We really didn't get out onto the water until nine that morning. There was still some fog out on the water, but it was good enough to drive across the lake. See, from where we put in the boat is around twenty miles from where we actually fish. This was always a problem because this would eat up all the gas in the tank. Later that day, it was around four. It takes around 1 hour to drive the boat back to the ramp. I'm starting to pack…

There is no reason for me to stop fishing. I cannot stop, nor will I. Sure, there may be some discomfort, but I will never admit defeat to the elements. As long as I stand on my two feet, I will continue to fish, continue to inhale the fresh dawn air, and continue to feel the crisp morning breeze in my face. My mind is much too strong to lose to my body. If I wake up in the morning, I will cast my net, reel in my catch, and head for home, head back to my ungrateful household. After all the sacrifices I have made, this is the thanks I get.…

Fishing a activity in which people use a fishing pole and bait to lure in and hook fish. Fishermen have to have great knowledge of fish spawns as well as good knowledge of the traits of each fish to understand where and how to catch them. Fishing is normally judged by the size of the fish, you take the baseline average size of a species then give points based on how much larger the fish is. The second way to judge fishing is by the pure quantity of a specific species caught in which they are ranked by the total number of fish caught in a given time. Fish have lots of protein and are very healthy. Most people think just because they don't have a fishing pole and hooks they cannot get fish. Nothing could be farther from the truth, a lot of deferent fish hooks, spears and traps can be made of wood and carved with a knife. If you are fishing with a hook and line there are a few important things you will need. You will need a hook, line, and bait. If you don't have these things they can be easily made. To make a fish hook all you need is a knife and some wood or bone. A very simple and effective hook to make is a gorge hook. All you need to do is take a stick, break it to the length needed then sharpen it into a point at both ends. If you don't have a line you can make one out of tough plant fibers. Basswood, elm, cedar, nettle, yucca are very good plans to use. The fiber will be easier to work with if it is soaked in water for a few minutes. To make the fibers into strong line, tie two ends together, then start twisting the fibers clockwise, twist each one individually and not together, until tight. Then wrap them together in a counter clockwise and tie them at the end. The opposite twisting and wrapping help keep the line from unwinding. To get bait use bugs or worms. When you fish cut open the belly to see what they are eating. If you don't want to stay with your line for hours there are things to do so you don't have to sit there with it. You can make a Twitch-up…
