Persuasive Essay Against Zoos
5,000 zoo animals are killed yearly in only Europe according to Animal Liberation Front. Zoo animals are mistreated and don’t deserve to be locked up for human entertainment. More than 150 million people visit U.S. zoos and aquariums. Zoo animals are do not behave naturally, as they would in their natural habitat so, the people who do visit zoos are not seeing what the animals are naturally like, defeating the purpose of zoos being educational. Poor treatment in zoos can kill animals or make them sick.
