America is facing a lot of child neglect and abuse. Child abuse is a major problem for the United states and many other countries children everywhere. Everyone gives an equal opportunity to do as they please, but as children are constantly being abused is they receive the exact same opportunity. Our children are the key and success of this country. The future of America relies on the children of today, so if we continue to let this happen many children get abused, we could miss out on a child finding the cure of a deadly disease or even being a winner of a noble prize winner. The point is, no one knows what their child is capable of doing, so a parent should continue to care for their child with all the love possible and not harm their children.
The government should break down the law more and make more crucial punishments to those who decide to break those laws. A longer sentence should be forced to those who abuse. Parents also have the power to make a movement in this case. Parents should come together and stop those who abuse their children. Children should be loved no matter what they do. No mistake a child makes should result in abuse or neglect. There are many key contributions to why children are abused. National Council On Child Abuse and Family Violence explains why children are abused. They claim, "The parents were abused as children and lacked a successful model of parenting and family life... Immaturity, the absence of parenting preparation skills, and lack of understanding of child development often results in the creation of unrealistic expectations for a child's behavior... Abusing parents often feel isolated or keep themselves isolated from others... Alcohol and substance abuse compound the chances for loss of control and eruption of violent behavior...
