I would have to experience the opinions of others first-hand. I would find women who would be willing to breastfeed in public and have her breastfeed her baby uncovered on a park bench in a busy park. I would ask her to sit on a bench where somebody else is sitting to first observe the other person’s reaction. Do they leave? How long to they stay there? I would then record the observation I make of people’s reactions such as the faces they make, if any, or comments made. I would repeat my observations a few times (with the women being covered and uncovered t record different observations) until I have my necessary data.
Both men and women’s perspectives are important and necessary for my study so I would interview and survey people asking what their personal beliefs are on breastfeeding in public. For the men, I would go into more detail with my questions and go as far as asking them their opinions on how they view women, their body parts, and if they think breastfeeding is unattractive to explain why. I would also ask how breast feeding takes away from a women’s attractiveness. My findings might lead me into other cultures to study public breastfeeding beliefs and how they view their
