Society glorifies education and puts it on such a high pedestal. However no one seems to want to talk about the problems with education. It seems to be over looked as if its not important. Society might not realize it but they are showing young students that education can be pushed back and other things are more important. Schools haven’t seen improvement because some of the problems are hidden from the public eye very well. Most parents are unaware if their child’s school budget is being cut which will result in their child loosing valuable tools to help their education. Parents are the missing component in changing the Texas education system. If more parents would speak up for their children the government would have no choice but to fix the many problems that need to be addressed. In conclusion while Texas is doing a numerous of great things with education there is double of problems that go unnoticed for multiple reasons. All society is doing is hurting the younger generation which will become the future. If they are not educated to the best ability possible then society’s future will not be that bright. A quote from Margaret Mead says “Children must be taught how to think, not what ti think” education is needed for the student’s benefit. It has a domino effect.
