This, however, is untrue. The United States Constitution specifies that all men and women are created equal under God’s eyes; so all men and women are afforded the same rights. However, the Constitution does not define where transgenders lie within the law. The Oxford English Dictionary defines a man as: “Of or denoting the sex that produces small, typically motile gametes, especially spermatozoa, with which a female may be fertilized or inseminated to produce offspring”. This means, that Oxford, the leading scholars on the English Language, identify man and woman based on their genitalia. Now, a woman who identifies as male cannot do as such, and so, a transgender woman is not a man, and vice versa. One can clearly see how the Constitution does not afford any particular rights to transgenders that no other person has. As such, these complaints are unnecessary, and untrue to the core
