Persuasive Essay On Ultrasounds
As you probably already know, having an ultrasound done during your pregnancy is pretty standard. However, many people still just get a 2D ultrasound and do not take advantage of all of the great technology that is out there. If possible, it's a good idea for many people to get a 3D or 4D ultrasound from a competent technician who has modern equipment. These are a few reasons why it's worth it.

Many people find themselves worrying a lot about potential problems with their babies when they are pregnant, and a 3D or 4D ultrasound can be great for gaining peace of mind. If there are issues, then your medical team might be able to take steps

If you're like many people, you might have had trouble really seeing the baby with standard ultrasounds that you have looked at in the past. This should not be an issue with a 3D ultrasound. With a 3D ultrasound, you will probably be surprised by just how clear the picture is. You may be able to see your unborn child sucking his or her thumb or smiling. This can be a great memento to have.

As you can see, there are many reasons why it's worth it to get a 3D or 4D ultrasound during your pregnancy. These can be a bit more expensive than a standard 2D ultrasound, but many people find that it's still worth it. However, you will not want to have your ultrasound done by just anyone. Then, you can help ensure that you get the best ultrasound possible and that the technician who looks at your ultrasound is best able to detect any

I was able to assess the mother that was in labor throughout the time of her full dilation till the recovery. During the recovery especially, I visited her room every 15 minutes to check and massage to fundus, the nurse showed me where to locate the fundus and what to and to not expect, because if it was not firm it could risk hemorrhaging. I didn’t do it myself but the assessment of the neonate was interesting because they let the mother hold the baby after assessment because he expressed crying at birth, but if not that shows respiratory distress that would not have allowed the skin to skin touch that the mother was able to experience.…

There are so many things that can go wrong during pregnancies and ultrasounds are an amazing way in detecting abnormalities early on. Amniocentesis is a common test, which uses amniotic fluids to help detect genetic birth defects. Ultrasound is used to guide the needle into the womb. When I was 41 weeks pregnant I had an ultrasound done and they found that I had very little to no amniotic fluids to help support my child, which lead me to be induced the same day. They can also help detect structural abnormalities, spina bifida, heart defects, and dwarfism. After my experience I wanted to help mothers be able to detect anything during their pregnancy. Not only can sonography do all this but being a single…

For mother 2, the first prenatal care appointment was when she asked all of her questions regarding pregnancy. For example, food and vitamin intakes, how often she would exercise, and so forth. The second appointment was to determine the due date of the baby, take her physical, as well as run some blood tests. After the second appointment, she visited her doctor once a month until the last remaining months of the pregnancy. During those months, they measured her belly size, took sugar and blood tests, and listened to his heartbeat. For her 3rd trimester appointments, she was tested for GBS and also took pelvic exams. The doctor also checked for the baby’s position as well as to check for cervical changes. Mother 1 was forced to marry a man of an older age who showed no particular interest in his wife or raising the child. The father was out gambling and did not return until many years after the childbirth. As for mother 2, the father was unable to be present because he was locked in prison during and after the childbirth. Because of the living condition and lack of technology, mother 1 did not take any forms of anesthesia. Mother 2 decided not to take any…

When choosing between a midwife and a doctor, there are many factors that influence the decision. Having a midwife allows you to give birth at home, which is something that mothers may seek. When giving birth, it is important the mother is relaxed and comfortable. What’s better than giving birth in the familiar and soothing environment of one's own home? In addition, you are able to eat and drink freely (not excessively), take hot showers or baths, and you are allowed to be in control of the position you are in. With a midwife at a home birth, there is no rush or pressure to take medications to speed the process of the delivery. There is also no unnecessary interventions that could affect the baby or the process of the delivery. Furthermore, midwives offer more one-on-one time than doctors, which is a quality many mothers, especially first-time mothers look for. Although both doctors and midwives offer physical support, midwives offer a great amount of emotional support as well as advice, since they are in contact with their patients more often. Another reason why a woman would prefer to deliver using a midwife instead of a doctor is: religion. Some religious men and women believe it is only right they seek medical attention with members of their own gender due to the issue…
