Persuasive Essay Preschool

Children that are four years of age should have the opportunity to go to preschool, but it should not be a critical problem if a child does not attend preschool. Preschool is the gateway to learning and socializing. The children emphasize on cognitive and social development. They learn words, ABC's, physical aspects of objects; social development. Also, verbal communication and how to work together with other children; cognitive development. Starting early with these activities can lead to having good listening skills, higher self-esteem to do things on there own, great math skills, as well as a better understanding of English later in life as many articles state. On the other hand, not going to preschool is not as bad as everyone may think.
As articles may state that kids will 'lack in many educational areas', that is not fully true. I did not attend preschool as a child and I never had problems in school nor when socializing with other people later in life. Although, I was an active child who watched educational shows and my mother taught me small words, ABC's, and did other activities with me; children who do not attend preschool should have another form of teaching. In addition, I do not believe tax payers should pay for children's preschool. There is already financial help for low-income families to help with paying for preschool; if that specific preschool is not free. Families who do not have financial hardship and have the ability to pay should do the best for their child.
