only will you need to be prepared for surviving a fight, but also in a disaster situation. There are a number of items any survivalist will need in an emergency. But some things are very important to surviving the future. One is knowledge on how to provide for yourself and your family during a disaster. If you are in a situation that requires you to survive in the outdoors, a fishing pole, a firearm, and a knife are some of your most important survival gear to have.
You can choose a lightweight fishing pole that folds up to fit into a pack.
If you need to fish for your meal find bait early in the morning or late evening. Red worms, bugs, pieces of other fish or game will work in an emergency. Keep your pole in hand at all times. Since this is for survival you cannot afford to lose it to a fighting fish. Take only the amount of fish you are going to eat at each meal and try to limit your meal to twice a day. A small firearm like a .22 rifle can bring in small game. Birds, squirrels, rabbits, fox, and other games will make a meal in the form of a roasting meat over a fire or as a soup
base.
Your knife is going to be one of the most important of your tools so choose wisely. Choose a strong blade with a good handle made for hunting. Your knife will cut meat, saw small pieces of wood, filet fish, gut animals to remove the insides before cooking, and protect you in an emergency. Keep it close to your body with a leg or waist strap. A good knife is worth the investment to provide for your care.
