the years, the prices have not only inflated, but they have increased their prices more than double the prices on opening day. On opening day for either resort, there were unique attractions and rides that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else in the world or at any other Disney resort in the world. Disney Land, on opening day, included rides such as: Autopia, King Arthur Carrousel, Mad Tea Party, and Peter Pan's Flight. While today they have: Anna & Elsa's Royal Welcome, Animation Academy, Astro Orbitor, and California Screamin'. Disney Land still have some of their old rides and attractions, while Disney World most likely still has some of theirs. Disney World had attractions such as: Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Mickey's PhilharMagic. Today's attractions and rides include: Discovery Island Trails, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Test Track. Walt Disney's first creation was thought up when he was watching his daughters play on a merry-go-round.
He wanted a place where adults and their children could come to enjoy Walt Disney Studio's works, since the studio wasn't large enough to accommodate the number of people who wanted to come visit. Construction of Disney Land started on July 24th, 1954 then opened on July 17th, 1955. Then eventually created Disney World to supplement Disney Land. Disney World would be built by Roy O. Disney, because Walt Disney died a year before construction began. April 30th, 1967 was when Disney World began construction. When he passed away, construction was centered around building an attraction that was similar to Disney Land. Construction, in truth has never ended for Disney World, but the grand opening happened on October 1st,
1971. These two may share many aspects as far as the atmosphere of the park along with the pure happiness that comes with riding a Disney ride, but the difference of rides, and how these two resorts bring about their happiness is completely different than any other resort in the world.
