I realize the united states are very busy and have “ More important issues” But this Is an huge issue all over. Do you not agree they are humans too? Seeing a homeless person, or just a homeless person period There's always a feeling on the inside of you wanting to help. They have lost everything, lost faith even hope. This lost drives them to the street, maybe even personal response drives them to the streets. These people without homes left to be alone and sometimes meant to be alone. What we can do is give them food, maybe a place to rest, and let them know you care and you are there to help. The aftermath of you helping might change their life by maybe them finishing school if they dropped out, then they graduate, have a great career, and one thing they will never forget is where they came from. Then they also give back, just like the people who helped them get on their

For those who are worthy of help, we can encourage them to work. A brilliant idea that I found is created by Christopher Awalt. He said: “Offer him a hard day's work for an honest wage, and see if he accepts. If he does, tell him you'll pay weekly, so that he will have to work for an entire week before he sees any money. If he still accepts, offer a permanent job, with taxes withheld and the whole shebang. If he accepts again, hire him.” This idea can motivate the homeless and guide them to go back to the normal life. Moreover, the people who cannot offer a job for a homeless, we need to respect them and we can give them some food or some books. Knowledge is powerful, if we give them some inspirational books, they might regain the confidence and come back to the normal life.…

Homeless people all around the world are starving and nobody is doing anything about it. Homelessness is defined as a person who "lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate night-time residence." (Cite)They are starving because of the poverty in the world, the whole world's population as we know it, and community's pretending not to see it happening . Poverty is a big thing that affects homelessness in the U.S (cite) . The population increases every day and that makes the world more populated and creates more homeless people. The community pretends that they do not see people and just let them die right in their faces Worldwide, homelessness is caused by a breakdown in traditional family support systems, continued urbanization, the effects of structural adjustment programs, civil wars, and natural disasters. All over America, there are people wandering the streets without a home. These individuals are seen as a crowd, a separate collective existence. They are called the homeless, as if that defines who they are, but we too often neglect to add the unspoken word in that title; people. It seems today that the more fortunate citizens of America who have a roof over their heads have forgotten their innate responsibility to watch over those in this world whom are incapable of caring for them-selves. The fact is, that there are millions of homeless in America today. Many of these people had no choice but to become homeless. Economic problems such as being laid off work, or the rise in the cost of housing had lead people to live on the streets. Many of the homeless are women that have become divorced or have left home because of physical abuse. These women have no education because they have not been given the chance to go and get the education that it takes nowadays to get the job, so they are forced to live on the streets. People with mental illnesses also become homeless quite often. These people are incapable of handling the stress of living on their own.. Teenage mothers are also forced to live on the streets because their families will not help them. There are many other people that become homeless for many different reasons. Some of these people cannot help becoming homeless. Some of these people are the illegal immigrants that come here from other places to get a better life but end up not having enough money to make it in this hard world that we live in. Teenage runaways have different reasons for leaving home but all have the same reason for becoming homeless.…

Dale Partridge once said, 'You were born with the ability to change someone's life, don't waste it." Throughout our lives, most people choose to ignore helping those in need. Many of those people, did not choose to be in a situation where they have to ask for help. At one point, homeless people had dreams of becoming someone important in life. Despite the situations these people have gone through , helping the homeless can change our community by lowering crime rates, and having hard workers.…

If we don't instead of having just a couple of states that have a high number of homeless people there will be like a competition of which states can rise the fastest of having the most people that can not have there own place to live and higher death rates. For example right now Los Angeles is the largest homeless population which 55% has grown to 12,536 and that alone has said that california has one- third of the homeless population.(Los Angeles times) The increase of that outpaced the one in new york city with a ratio 3:1 which is what i meant it’s like a competition of who has the most people in need. Instead of that they should have a friendly competition of who can help the most and reduce the number of deaths per year that's what should be done positive instead of negative.…

It is a melancholy hearing about the issue of homelessness worldwide. There are countless homeless people on the streets of these large cities. So we ask ourselves; why are people still without homes when new jobs are being created everyday or when unemployment still has not reached zero? This seems to be an ever haunting problem even though it would be so easy to erase it. I think we have reached our limits of dealing with thousands of homeless people blocking doorsteps and sidewalks disturbing us with their begging hands. While most claim to use the money we provide them to buy food or shelter, most will use it feed their addictions. Do you want your money being spent on cigarettes and alcohol? Why should we have to give them our spare change when we have new clothes to buy, vacations to take or gas tanks to fill?…
