The first method is called RU-486. RU-486 is a drug that produces an abortion. This method of abortion is used up to the second month of the mother’s pregnancy. With this drug, many side effects come with it such as, nausea, severe cramping, vomiting and bleeding. Although, these side effects will not compare to the emotion distress from this procedure. Another way to have an abortion having Suction-Aspiration. Suction-Aspiration is a method that is used by putting a hollow plastic tube with a knife-type edge into the uterus. The section then cuts the baby into bits and pieces and the abortionist is then to suck out the baby’s body parts into another bottle. Another way abortion is done is by the method called, “Dilation and curettage” or, “D&C”. In this procedure the abortionist uses a loop shaped knife to cut the baby into pieces and scrape out the body parts and such out of the mother's uterus. The body parts are then removed and then the mother is checked to make sure no body parts are left over inside her womb. The next method of abortion is called, “Dilation and extraction” or, “D&X” or, “partial-birth abortion.” This method of abortion is used to kill babies as late as 32 weeks old which is close to the birthing time. Although we may think it would be the best thing for us or for our child, it is not the best solution. For example, one solution for an abortion could be adoption. Although adoption is not the best choice, adoption is a better way for you or your child rather than abortion.
