Specific Purpose: I want to persuade the audience that the death penalty or life in prison without parole for children is cruel and unusual punishment.
Thesis Sentence: Most professionals who believe there are programs that can rehabilitate juveniles to become productive citizens of society. Also, believe the death penalty and life without parole for children is cruel and unusual punishment. Therefore, the criminal justice system, must take a deeper look at alternatives such as rehabilitation over the death penalty or life without parole for children.
