Persuasive Speech Outline
Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience that organs are in need in Mississippi and Mississippi should allow a person to donate their organs without any consent.
Introduction:
I. Did you know according to United States Department of Health and Human Services stated there are more than 117.000 people who currently in need of organs transplant.
II. 40% Caucasian 30% African American 18% Hispanics and 7% Asians.
III. This makes it very important that we address the consent law to get it in effect.
IV. As you all can recall back I did my information speech on organs donation. I am convinced that the law is not fare in Mississippi

The United States is not the only place that needs organs.
A. Mississippi is the only state that does not have the consent law in effect.
B. Mississippi has so many people in the need for organs.
1. Think of all the people who dies that might could have lived if the consent law was in effect in Mississippi.
C. Although donating organs may seem like a bad ideal it’s not it saves people’s lives.
1. So many people are waiting for organs because they do not revive the help they need
2. Family’s should not have the right to go agonist what a person decided to do with their body part after their death it’s just not fair.
3. When a person is dead they are dead. I think that it’s a very good thing to donate your organs if you want to. If it would save another person’s life.
(Transition) Now that I have brought the problem to your attention let me tell you what I think needs to be done.

1. Everyone should have the right to be able to do whatever they chose with their body
