Persuasive Speech On Drowsy Driving
Have you ever found yourself feeling that you’re fine to drive after getting five hours of sleep, but when you get into the vehicle and you quickly realize that you are a lot more tired than you originally realized? Most people will keep driving thing that they can push through the tiredness. There are laws to help keep or deter people from driving drunk. There are even laws in most states on talking or texting on your cell phone. Consequently, there are no laws or tests to show or prevent those who drive while having sleep deprivation. Therefore, what can be done about drowsy driving? In the age where most people are getting less sleep at night because of a multiple of reasons, there is no test to show that a person is driving incapacitated. The body has an internal clock that tells when it is time to sleep and a time to tell when to be awake. Actually, this clock is called a SNC and it is connected to the circadian rhythm which controls the body temperature, the alertness and the daily cycle of many of one’s hormones. Therefore, more that you stay awake the more that your body needs to sleep. One cannot make up for 100% of the sleep that one misses by staying awake, but one can make up some of the sleep that one misses. If someone were to just take a 20 min nap during the day it can help with the tiredness.
