I. Videogames is being used as a scapegoat for almost every juvenile crime that is happening nowadays. II. Most of the time, people tries to link a young suspect who committed a crime with violent video games without even knowing the facts. A. According to the FBI 2004 Crime Report, “The violent crime rate has further dropped 2.2% since 2003; the number of murders is down by 2.4%.” 1. “The FBI states violent crime rates have been falling since the early '90s, except for 2006.” 2. Contrary to common belief, videogames is actually a great de-stressor than an aggressor.
