5. A) The washes that are performed in part B are necessary because the RTILs are often contaminated with halide slats such as KBr, which would cause the RTIL to be cloudy. In order to remove the halide contamination washes must be performed until the water does not result in cloudiness and is pure.…

Javier Hernández, aka "Chicharito", is a Mexican soccer player who plays for Manchester United, being the first Mexican to do so. Before, he played for the Mexican team Guadalajara (a.k.a Chivas). He made his début for the Mexico national football team in September 2009 in a match against Colombia and represented them at the 2010 FIFA World Cup scoring two goals.…
Amir being so fought with guilt about his own actions or rather lack of actions led him to fight with Hassan. Hassan refuses to fight with him and instead just stands there and pushes through the pain of his friends yet again hurting him. Hassan has done nothing wrong but he is the victim yet again. Amir is so sure that Hassan hates him instead of just trusting him that he has now hurt Hassan himself, permanently damaging their relationship, Hassan’s trust for him.…
Knowing that beane was capable of handling the situation he didn’t give him the easy way out. Beane had no other choice but to look at the situation differently, understanding that insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. As a leader schott allowed Billy enough freedom to be a manager, but not bailing him out when thing weren’t looking so hot either. Cornering him in to finding his strength and challenging him to challenge the conventional and even when the results are shaky at first trusting him to continuing. Lines of communication were open and he was confident in his decisions. If he truly doubted billy it didn’t show. He was not domineering, he properly delegated which allowed for others he put in leadership positions to thrive and find well earned success. Without him there is not team or stadium or staff. He is not only proficient in leading, he is also an example for other leaders. He listens and trusts those under him depending on him. He exhibits adaptive leadership style, much like billy’s adaptive leadership style what ever need to be done in light of the situation there ready to move in that…
Chicago is not one of the best places to live because of the rising crime rate. Recent statistics have shown that more people are leaving the city to move to Indiana because of this. If the crime rate were lower probably people would still stay in Chicago. Al Capone once said “In this town murders a form of entertainment” which means that Chicago has had a long history of crime and the numbers of crime that have taking place in Chicago are still on the rise. Some people might say Chicago is one of the best places to live because it’s a beautiful place to live but Chicago has experienced some of the worst crimes in history. For instance the Jeffery Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy murders happened here. There are good neighborhoods in Chicago and I live on the Northside and crime doesn’t discriminate against anyone. I did have a crime against me was committed and my viewpoint has change on Chicago being a safe place to live.…
We are forced to accept that violence is no longer an acceptable reaction by anybody, that we must conjure the self-control to channel our anger into other more efficient ways. This has changed many views of interpretation on the world in which we live. You can especially see this change in the sports aspect of life. Sports are one of the biggest categories people are involved with, and something many people of the world share a passion for. As you can probably tell, this creates a growing problem. Most sports were created to be violent, an excuse to exert physical domination on another human. Sports were a way in which athletes could escape the normal world, have a new set of rules to follow, be held to a different standard.…
After Dana hurt Roy he had to stay home all weekend to make sure he was okay. Before going back to school he was nervous about seeing Dana again although he was not at school. When Garrett saw Roy at school he told him that everyone was talking about what he did to Dana and that they think he is a tough guy. Roy asked Garrett who the tall girl with the red glasses is, and he said that her name is Beatrice Leep, she is a major soccer jock, has a major attitude and is so tough that she broke the collarbone of a lineman on the football team after he slapped her on her bottom. Officer Delinko was looking forward to getting up early and scouting the construction site. So he sat in his squad car with his headlights on and saw some owls. He awakens…
I can already imagine the feeling of walking into a massive stadium, greeted by thousands of fans screaming and chanting. Thinking about the crowd and the screaming fans, brings me back to reality. Daydreaming about playing soccer in front of huge crowds in an huge immense stadium this atmosphere, inspires me even more excited to accomplish my goals of being the best soccer player I can be. In the future, I would like to play professional soccer and be on the national team for the United States. I would like to play professional soccer at a high level because I love the game, I would get to be coached by incredible coaches, and I would get to play with outstanding players.…
Many people I know have learned many life lessons while playing the sport of football. Vince Lombardi, the Green Bay Packers former coach, has a quote that no sports editorial can disagree with. I survive by this quote every single day of my life. The quote says “Football is a great deal like life in that it teaches that work, sacrifice, perseverance, competitive drive, selflessness and respect for authority is the price that each and every one of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile.” - Vince Lombardi…
At a first glance, Jose Mourinho and the American Dream, are the oddest combination of words because he is not American, he is Portuguese, and no one dreams about becoming Jose Mourinho, not in America at least. In reality, Jose is the epitome of the American Dream. Therefore, what is the American Dream? The American dream doesn’t have an exact definition as it varies from person to person. In my own definition, The American Dream is about hard and honest work leading to success.…
I use the possession system where we were able to hold the ball longer than the opposition. The purple team is not one of the best on tracks events, but one of the best on field events. The team meets at the field every three days to train. We have different routines like, stretching, sprints, weights and finally ball work. Some of the players didn’t agree with the way I handled the team and the game plans, but I told them to trust me, when some did the ones that didn’t I calmly explained my plans in a better and clear way that they saw reason with me. Then the first game we defeated the opposing team massively by a score of 5-0. Then we qualified to the next round where we won the game and went on to the finals to play the best team in the school. So I just changed the game plan a bit, my players said they all trusted me which made me feel that we could win, and we went on to win the match and I was named the best manager of the…
What factors do you think have contributed to Rodriguez’s success? Was he merely “in the right place at the right time, “or are there characteristics about him that contribute to his success?…
In my opinion everything what he did went pretty well beside one thing. He shouldn’t let Hernandez take care of things while he was getting comfortable. I think he should start looking out for the problems right away to solve them a bit earlier. Hernandez is the person who said that the place where they both work does not have that performance that Van West got used to back in Taipei. Also, when he heard about the strike possibility he should act immediately to try to prevent it. It is also a culture issue, some people need some time to adjust to place and they work better, but some of them can start hard work right away.…
