A personal example of this happened one day at lunch when I was a freshman. There was a group of boys that sit behind us every day that constantly cuss. Most of these boys were the same age as me with only a few juniors as exceptions. They were arguing about something stupid and the only words coming out of their mouths that weren’t cuss words were simple words like is and were. After trying, and failing, to block them out I finally turned around and politely asked them to stop cussing. They told me to shut up and leave them alone because they had a right to say whatever they want.

You may speak however you want when you are at home but while in public you should refrain from using curse words. There are many people who don’t want to hear foul language, or don’t want their children to hear cursing. If people wanted their little ones to hear foul language they would constantly speak fouly. You wouldn’t take a four year old to see Wolverine because you wouldn’t want him or her to pick up that kind of language. So why would you openly cuss in public when there are little ears to hear you. Sometimes a foul word or two is understandable but you think before you speak. Think of the desires of others and what you would want if the situation was
