Petrichor Monologue

She had found a new lover. He seemed like someone whom she would get involved with. He wasn't well groomed, and his demeanour revealed that he was a hard fighter and a careless lover. And there she was, trying to keep up with his quickening pace.

She turned around and saw me standing there with the dinner I was going to prepare for her and her kids. She stopped and stared at me. I didn't know what was going through her mind but I knew what she was about to do. I had seen her leave home every evening, leaving her kids alone. Sometimes she would be gone for an hour, and other times a few more. Not once had I questioned her. But lately, she would even be gone for a whole night. Perhaps I had been making her too comfortable. "When are you coming back?" I asked. Her new lover stopped and turned back, and then continued walking. He didn't seem to care who I was or what I wanted.

She didn't answer.

"I'm making fish tonight. The kids loved it last time. Should I keep some for you?"
I said as I raised my hand showing her

I was closing in behind her as she reached the crosswalk. She started to cross, of course I followed. After we crossed the street, she walked for awhile, then she sat down on a communal bench. “May I sit here?” I asked. “Of course,” she replied. A minute or two later, she asked “You look familiar, do I know you?” I stated who I was. Everything clicked after that. We started talking about the old days when nothing really matters. I lost track of time, we sat there for what seemed like minutes. Only to find out it had been a couple hours. We exchanged phone numbers, I told her to keep in touch. We went our separate ways, I called a cab and went back to my…

The man may not have been the sharpest tool in the shed, but he possessed a rat's cunning, and the plan was formed in an instant in his mind. It caused no hesitation, or pause his treatment of the Heiress, or pause in his actions, and it hadn't been formed in empathy for her. All he cared about was saving his own skin. And fucking the bitch silly; the humiliation of shoving his cock into her tight ass to be left be left for last. The reaction to that thread had not been missed.…
