When germany invaded Czechoslovakia schindler was broken out of jail. 3. after seen what horrifying things the Nazis were doing schindler wanted nothing to do with them and later opened a pots and pans factory in 1939. 4. When germany invaded hungary and forced all jews living there into the Krakow ghetto, schindler was going out of business. 5. Schindler hired jewish workers by paying off the SS guards and getting work grants for the jews. 6. One jewish man by the name of Itzhak Stern was hired by schindler to be his accountant. 7. “I knew the people who worked for me. When you know the people, you have to behave towards them like human beings” (schindler 417) schindler says this because he knew the people who worked for them and he soon grew a relationship with all of them. 8.
