Here is the report requested regarding fatal casualties, physical injuries and psychological traumas of Maryville’s residents relating to the explosion at PharmaBec Inc on January 26, 2017.
Introduction
The following information included statement from an expert and an eyewitness. The expert is based his information according medical files and reports from Jean Mance Hospital (Maryville), General Jewish Hospital (Montreal) and Royal Victoria Hospital (Montreal). The eyewitness, who gave an interview, lives in Maryville nearby PharmaBec Inc.

Doctors from the hospitals claimed that patient had symptoms resembled to gastrointestinal form of beriberi-like syndrome. Furthermore, 7 patients died from complications. At present time, 15 town residents still in the hospitals in serious condition.

Psychological trauma
438 town residents sought medical help with a psychological trauma as the consequence of the explosion. They had such symptoms as unwanted distressing memories and flashbacks, insomnia with nightmares. During the first week after the explosion, lot of town residents had difficulty used any water in Maryville area. Evenmore, some of patients couldn’t drink bottled water for the first couple days. At present time 220 patients receive a treatment for diagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder.
Summary
The explosion at PharmaBec Inc has dramatic consequences where 440 town residents were physically injured. From them 129 people were hospitalized in critical condition. In 20 persons condition deteriorated and led to dead in 20 cases (including 3
