Upon graduating from Capps college and completing courses in pharmaceutical calculation, pharmaceutical compounding, and principles of pharmacy practice, I was able to obtain pharmacy technician license through the Alabama state Board of pharmacy. I would go on to complete two rounds of extern ships, one at providence hospital located in mobile Alabama and the other at Rite Aid retail pharmacy. These experiences would help broaden my intellect and open doors for opportunities into the pharmacy field. In February of 2006, I was hired on by CVS Pharmacy as a certified pharmacy technician. Through out pharmacy school, I plan to gain more experience, while continuing to excel academically in pharmacies studies. I greatly understand that the pharmacy program is highly competitive, but with eight years of dedication in the pharmacy field, experience, skills and knowledge, I’m eager to say that I am ready to face the challenges that awaits me.
