Name: Yomi kapasi
Degree Sought: Master of Science in Regulatory affairs and Public health.
I am a Multifaceted individual with varied experience of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.With the current innovation and integration of medicine, technology and business, a need for increased regulatory compliance is imperative to ensure that reliable and safe products are available to the public so that we may continue to lead healthy lives.Currently working in pharmacovigilance as a domain trainer and drug safety scientist my expertise include Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, QA and QC. My interest in liaison with Regulatory affairs started with the basics of subjects in my bachelor degree like Pharmacy Administration, Forensic Pharmacy, et., and also some regulations included in subjects like Biopharmaceutics &pharmacokinetics, and Dosage Form Design.
Regulatory affairs management has become essential in today's pharmaceutical industry. It encompasses current science practices with legal and business issues. In this era of drug development and clinical trials, there is an urgent demand to get quality drug products. I want to focus on improving the safety and efficacy measures as it relates to pharmaceutical products. I got an exposure about formulation about tablets,injectables,also learnt about in process quality checks like disintegration tests and friability test. I also had an opportunity to present seminar on “Pectin”. It is a fiber found in fruits.
