Title: Honda Prestige Traders Incorporated Collection Scheduling System with SMS Notification
Problem:
* Inconvenience in Collection Scheduling due to unclear encoded data. * Inaccuracy in information gathering. * Redundancy of records. * Possible human errors. (e.g. Misplaced records) * Manual Transaction slows down the process of retrieving records.
General Objective: To be able to provide convenience to the Collections Department of the Novaliches Branch of Honda Prestige Traders Incorporated through creating a Collection Scheduling System with SMS Notification.
Specific Objectives: * Create an automated collection system with security features. * Provide a convenient way of managing data through a user friendly Graphical User Interface and a well-designed database, specifically MySQL Server as the back-end. * Create a system that will notify the collector about his/her scheduled collection for the day. * Create a system that will keep the records organized and provides an easy and fast way of information retrieval.
Scope and Delimitation
Scope:
The Honda Prestige Traders Incorporated Collection Scheduling System with SMS Notification has an Authentication feature which requires the user’s Username and Password. The system also provides modification of data which can only be access by the System Administration. Since the collectors to be notified can be multiple in numbers, the system’s SMS notification is able to send multiple messages concurrently. For easy retrieval of data, the system is provided with a search engine and the data generated by the System is entirely free from redundancy. Lastly, reports can be viewed as weekly, monthly or can within a selected time frame.

Delimitation: The Honda Prestige Traders Incorporated Collection Scheduling System with SMS Notification doesn’t scope any Company transactions other than collection. The system does not also include notifying the customers and it cannot
