Abstract
Companies have affected their customers negatively in many, many ways by being careless, negligent and putting out products that can be tainted or altered in some way and have been very harmful to one 's health even to the point of death by use. Many people are unaware of some recalls and continue to use whatever product it is that is defective or contaminated. I will be talking about a couple of different companies and touching on what they have done or not done in order to correct a problem with their product/s that have been recalled. There are a lot of reasons as to why companies do not take action right away such as losing profits, losing customers, being sued or even going bankrupt. Having a positive image is should be on the top of the ethics list. Keywords: Recall, Ban, Defective, Lawsuit, Negligent, Harmful
Businesses today have to be well aware of what they are producing and pay special attention to every single thing that leaves their production area. Customers are number one and should always come first because without them they have nothing. Ethical and legal obligations are absolutely top of the list when it comes to doing the right thing. A customer needs to know that they can trust in the product they purchase and if there 's a problem with it, things will be handled accordingly. All organizations/businesses are legally responsible when it comes to obeying the rules and regulations. Fixing any problems that arise to save face and keep a positive image is also a plus. It only takes one bad thing to happen to turn customers into a former customer. Customers trust that a business has their best interest in mind and businesses want it to stay that way. All companies have to follow the law and may not veer from it to advance
