Place represent a place or placement focus on how a company sell their products and services to the final consumers. It includes the process on how a producer provides a particular product to the potential consumers. On the other hand, how consumer able to access or consume your product is the main purpose of place strategy. A company can utilize the location, distributors, logistics, shop front, and internet as a channel to ensure the products and services will be served to the consumer. Distribution is one of the major components in placement. A placement strategy is able to identify the most effective channel to a product or service.

The nature of nearby store around Phillip Capital consists of lawyer building, restaurants, café, banks, financial institutions, and retail stores. The nearby store can impact Phillip Capital overall performance. For instance, consumer can go bank, financial institution, and lawyer building to make an enquiry for the terms and conditions relative on their transaction.
Melaka Raya represents the most historic heritage city in the entire Malacca. Melaka Raya has becomes the most important location that attract many tourisms as their destination. According to the statistics, there are around 503000 residents in the Melaka Raya. There are different type of people in this area such as different gender, age, and occupation. People will be easy to reach Phillip Capital as it was located in downtown. Consumers are desire to choose a company they are easy to reach as their convenience. The utilization of placement strategies allowed a company to increase sales and even overall reputation. For example, a primary competitive advantage for Canadian Tire Corporation is that most of the Canadian population lives within a 15 minute drive of a Canadian Tire store.
Government and some of the transportation companies are support transportation access such as bus and taxi. The existence of transportation access bring about consumers can reach the destination (Melaka Raya) in a relatively convenient situation. Therefore, transportation access generates the level of visit in a particular trading area.
High visibility for the shop as it’s located besides the road and a high level of vehicles in circulation in this area.
