Philosophischer Essay zum Thema: Gott schuf den Menschen nach seinem Bilde, nach dem Bilde Gottes schuf er ihnIm Christentum wird mit der Taufe dem einzelnen Menschen die Sinngebung zu gesprochen, von Gott geschaffen worden zu sein und nur seines Willens wegen zu existieren.

Eine Vorstellung von Gott haben wir alle. Gott ist allmächtig, vollkommen und für menschliche Verhältnisse unfassbar und unerreichbar. Doch hat auch ein jeder Mensch seinen Ursprung in Gott - so ist es in unseren Köpfen verankert, auch in den Köpfen derer, die sich gegen Gottes Wort wenden. Ist es jedoch möglich, von jemandem geschaffen worden zu sein, der perfekt ist und uns dennoch nach der Vorlage seiner selbst kreiert hat? Wären dann nicht auch wir perfekt?In der Bibel (1.Mose 1,26a) heißt es: Und Gott sprach: Lasset uns Menschen machen, ein Bild, das uns gleich sei,. Im ersten Buch Mose, Kapitel 1, Vers 27 finden wir weiterhin: Und Gott schuf den Menschen zu seinem Bilde, zum Bilde Gottes schuf er ihn;. Der Mensch ist also ein Stück von Gott in des Wortes doppelter Bedeutung: von Gottgemacht und ein Teil Gottes. Der Mensch ist Teil der Schöpfung. Geschaffen von Gott, wie alles auf und außerhalb der Erde. Von den nicht mehr sichtbaren Welten im Universum bis hin zu den kleinsten Bausteinen unserer irdischen Materie. Aus diesen Erkenntnissen ergibt sich nur ein Problem. Der Mensch, alles andere als perfekt, soll also Teil des perfekten Gottes sein. Wie ist das möglich? Und ist es überhaupt möglich?Dass der Mensch nicht perfekt ist, haben schon Philosophen vor einigen Jahrhunderten erkannt. Wie auch Johann Gottfried Herder (1744-1803), der den Menschen aufgrund seiner Unterentwicklung in verschiedenen Bereichen als Mängelwesen bezeichnete. Diesen Begriff griff Arnold Gehlen (1904-1976) erneut auf. Auch er bezeichnete den Menschen als Mängelwesen und begründete diese Erkenntnis mit der Primitivität, die sich aus der unverhältnismäßigen verlängerten Entwicklungszeit, der langen Hilflosigkeit

    Martin Luther’s Theology of the Cross In Protestantism, there are two distinct guiding philosophies that are normally used as the foundation for the teaching and worship of the church. These philosophies are the theology of glory and the theology of the cross. Which philosophy a church practices is up to the individual church; however, it is rare, possibly even unheard of, for both philosophies to be utilized together in the same church. The theology of glory and the theology of the cross are both so very different from one another, that to mix them would be a challenging enterprise. The theology of the cross was formulated by the founder of the Protestant churches, Martin Luther, and continues to have an impact on theology and on churches today, nearly five hundred years after its creation. This paper examines Martin Luther’s theology of the cross, compares it with the theology of glory, and discusses how the theology of the cross continues to have an impact on churches today. To Martin Luther, Jesus Christ is the only moderator between God and humans.1 Through his death, he effects a reconciliation between God and man. Christ, through his death, has removed God’s wrath from humankind.     The inclusion of extensive primary sources—the “overarching objective” of the book (16) -- is the most significant and innovative contribution made by the authors to the existing body of literature on theological reflection. The first chapter alone includes as historical sources excerpts from the Confessions of St Augustine, the love letters of Abelard and Heloise, and the journal of John Wesley. The chapters following consider perspectives as diverse as those of the Church Fathers and twentieth-century German systematic theologians Karl Barth and Paul Tillich through to those of feminist theologians Rosemary Radford Ruether and Mary McClintock Fulkerson and Black British theologian Robert Beckford. Extracts from Aquinas, the Rule of St Benedict, and the philosopher Paul Ricoeur can be found juxtaposed with letters from activist Quakers, Vatican II documents, and the writings of Chung Hyun Kyung. Biblical passages are drawn from the Psalms, Gospels, Epistles, and Acts. The broad range of biblical, historical, and systematic sources woven together more than meets the expectations created in the introduction, and the ways in which they are linked proves stimulating. The authors thus achieve their goal of significantly deepening and enriching the usual discourse around theological reflection. They also shed new light on traditional theological resources as they encourage the reader to grapple with them anew through the lens of theological reflection. As a result, they clearly succeed in beginning to close the "divisions between 'systematic ' and 'practical ' theology" (16).
