Photo Assignment #2 The first picture is an image of a cafeteria table. This was taken in the cafeteria. It shows the point of view of a bird. This picture shows the design element of shape. The straight blue squares next to the diagonal blue and while squares add interest to the photo. The lines on the floor shows diagonal lines. The circle table with circle seats adds even more interest to the image. This image is a high key picture because it looks bright and there is a lack of shadows. It also shows good depth of field because there is a lot in focus.

This picture was taken on the side of the school across the path from the pond. This picture shows open form because only part of the fire hydrant is in the shot. This image also shows an interesting point of view because it was taken on one side of the fire hydrant. Our last picture is of the jean couch upstairs. This image shows selective focusing because only one hole in the jean is in focus. The jean couch picture has a low contrast because it has smooth shadow edges. Our 6 images did not demonstrate the topics of medium framing, close-up framing, point of view of looking up at the subject, visual relief, depth and a high contrast image. One picture that did show medium framing is located on our contact sheet as “1 Medium” on our contact sheet. This shows medium framing because it goes from her waist up. The image “1 Close-up” on our contact sheet shows close-up framing because it includes her head and shoulders. We showed the point of view of looking up at the subject on “3 Looking up at subject” on our contact sheet. This image is looking up at the railing with the chandelier. Image “8 Visual Relief” on our contact sheet shows visual relief. The colorful paper on the wall provides visual relief to the bare brown wall. Picture “9 Depth” shows depth by how the walls look as if they are overlapping. You can also see the railing peaking out from the wall. “10 High Contrast” on our contact sheet has a high contrast because it has dark shadows and a light
