There are about 136,000 people employed in the field of photography in the U.S.A. The growth of the employment is slower than normal, it’s around 3% to 7%. To become a photographer there are many duties that come along with it. Photographers need to apply their own camera, lights, lenses, and lots of other equipment they may need. A couple things, that professional photographers have that self-employed photographers, is that they get paid for vacation, sick days, holidays, and personal days (Salary and Benefits).
Most photographers start as assistants to professional photographers. Which usually leads them to becoming a professional photographer. There isn’t a lot of advancing in photographer, there are usually just assistant photographer or professional photographer (Photography Advancement).
After studying on photography I’ve learn that I would love to become one. I feel like I would have lots of fun doing this job and would learn more about photography than I already know. I take good pictures and know a little bit about different cameras and that would help me a little bit into succeeding in photography.
