Introduction: This study was conducted with freshmen from a public university. It is a longitudinal study with two baselines of 3 month and 6 month outcomes that were evaluated with questionnaires. 167 freshmen were surveyed from the ages of 18 to 25. The goal of this study was to examine college freshmen to determine if their healthy lifestyle would promote to more/less stress in various situations with interpersonal relationships, stress managements, and alcohol consumption. The participants were 167 college freshmen that were capable of reading and speaking English. They were chosen through a questionnaire that included demographic information on age, gender, race/ ethnicity, education level and place of residence. They
