Details: Surgeons are the doctors who treat diseases and injuries in a surgical way. They need to follow establish surgical techniques during operation. Surgeons operate on the patient correct damages, prepares case histories, and examines patient to gather information on their medical condition and surgical risk. The average annual wage in Colorado is $250,460 and national average annual wage is $247,520. Across Disciplines: For a standard general surgeon, you go through years of school. Up to 2-4 years in pre-medical training, 3-4 years of medical school, and 3-5 years of residency. Ethics: Surgeons have to help anyone who walks through those hospital doors, no matter what their history is. Across Disciplines: According to APTA, to become a physical therapist, you need to have a Doctor of Physical Therapy, which takes up to about 3 years.
Ethics: You are a therapist, and your job is help your patient. How much pain or issues they are going to have with a certain part of your body is in your hands. In this career, they are a lot of lifting, carrying, pushing (20 pounds to 50 pounds). They are also exposed to disease and infection, and also have to work the weekends.
