I am planning on making my career as a physical therapist. In 2000, the APTA House of Delegates adopted Vision 2020. It’s primarily a vision of where the profession of physical therapy sees itself 17 years from now. This vision has brought members together, put focus onto the more important issues, and acclaimed physical therapy between its workers. The vision 2020 distinctively states that by 2020 physical therapy will be maintained by physical therapists who are doctors of physical therapy and who may be board-certified specialists.
