Physical Therapy Experience Paper
When I was pregnant with Aaron I gained 40 lbs. (I am 5'0" and normally hover around 100lbs.) As a result of my rapidly expanding belly, I pulled some muscle on my left hip, which remained very painful for quite some time after he was born. I returned to dance class when Aaron was about four months old and noticed how painful my hip felt whenever I stood in 5th position. I finally saw a physical therapist about it and she thought the pain was probably due to scar tissue, which had formed in that spot. After several weeks of exercises that did not appear to be making much difference, she decided to try electromagnetic stimulation on the area. It worked like a charm and completely eliminated the pain. It never returned.

Fast forward to three years ago, during a dance rehearsal for "Sweet Charity" when I pulled the exact same muscle, only this time on my right hip. The pain was immediate and excruciating and I was afraid

I've been to my physical therapist on a regular basis for several months but not feeling much progress. Then this past Tuesday, as I was sitting in the waiting room before my physical therapy appointment, it suddenly dawned on me to ask her about zapping my butt! Hellooooo?!
