Physical therapy is something I have been intrigued about since I started working as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). I have seen patients with all kinds of problems in regards to immobility. I have been fascinated with the way physical therapists (PT) can help patients become mobile, so they can continue with their normal lives. Attending University of the Sciences physical therapy program will give me a chance to take courses that will interest me as well as challenge me, which will be a rewarding experience. The program has a diverse student body, resulting in time to collaborate and learn with others from different backgrounds from oneself. Being able to work with people from different backgrounds is imperative in the physical therapy profession. Nevertheless, teamwork is an essential skill in the profession, as well. Without teamwork it will be extremely difficult to manage a patients’ disability, and regain their strength back so he or she can live independently. Ultimately furthering my education, and gaining skills I can use in my future career is a rewarding
