As a PA student, you’ll receive classroom instruction in, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Physical diagnosis, Pathophysiology, Microbiology, Clinical laboratory science, Behavioral science, and Medical ethics. Along with the job of a PA most are in a program for 26 months and are in the same common courses as medical school. You then have to complete up to 2,000 hours of clinical rotations in family medicine, internal medicine and the list requires a few more. Once you’ve graduated from the PA program a test is needed that you have to take and pass which is given by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant, and get licensed in the state you would like to work
