Question 4: Both the height and diameter of the cylinder were taken to find the volume; five times for both measurements. Vernier calipers were used to get these measurements by clamping the cylinder between the jaws of the calipers. By looking at the mark of the zero, in relation to the main scale, the line best lined up with a line from the main scale was taken down. Getting these numbers we can further calculate values for average and accuracy of the length of the cylinder.
