- 1 Kilogram of red or black grapes
-3 cups of red wine vinegar
- Sugar, salt and chili powder (as per taste)

Begin with washing and steaming grapes. Using a sharp knife to cut off the upper part of the grapes, right where the steam meets. Then store prepared grapes into a clean quarts jars. Meanwhile, take a pan and heat vinegar and add all other remaining ingredients over medium heat for ten minutes. You need to stir occasionally to make sure sugar has fully dissolved. Now, pour this hot mixture of spices into the grape-filled container. Mix them properly. Push bay leaves and cinnamon stick into the jar so they don’t float on top.
