Conducting an Orchestra has always been fascinating to me. The way the conductor moves and follows the beat with the baton is amazing to watch. I always tell myself that i’m going to learn how to do that one day, and this is the perfect opportunity to do so. I’m so excited to get to work with my mentor and finally learn more about the history of conducting. My most important goal is to get the opportunity to show what I have learned at my next concert and conduct a piece alongside my mentor. The history of conducting goes way back to the 17th century.
