At the pace he was walking, he’d make it to the train station on time. He was returning to London after a brief visit back home to Manchester to visit his aunt. The woman had come down with an illness, prompting him to head home to take care of her for a few days.
He weaved through the crowds, keeping his head down as the rays of the blazing sun beat down on his back. Summer was never a season he never particularly enjoyed, although it had the full love and adoration of his fiancée. He prefered the bitter cold that came with winter. The heat of the summer reminded

The only problem is, he can lose that determination and courage just as fast as he gains it. He doubts his position as a leader, and his loyalty to his supposed friend, Piggy, can falter at times.” The island might have taken away the innocence of childhood, but Ralph had regained his self-confidence quite fast. Whenever he told this story, most people would choose him as the best leader of the group of boys on the island. Once he has one goal set, he will do whatever he can to achieve it. However, Jack is short-tempered and prone to violence. I suppose he could be quite terrifying when he has complete power.”

For his part, Ralph is…

Dear Diary, today is the morning after Piggy was killed from the falling bolder. Ralphs tribe, which I am a member of, went to castle rock where Jacks tribe lives. We were up there because early yesterday Jack stormed our shelters and stole our fire and Piggy’s glasses. When we went to confront Jack and his tribe a fight escalated between Jack and Ralph. From above Roger shoved an enormous bolder that pushed Piggy over a cliff and killed him. Piggy was very altruistic and unfeigned towards most everyone on the island. I was horrified by the sight of what happened to Piggy and haven’t slept all night. I’m hungry and tired and want to go home to my father and sister. This island adventure is not fun anymore.…
