Why English?
English is a language that has been spread throughout the whole world. People use English language most of the time. Maybe not everyone but can speak in English fluently but it is impossible for those people if they do not know the word ‘sorry’, ‘thank you’ and the word that even the dumbest person in the whole world would know and that is ‘hello’. Why English is an interesting language? We will know why if we learn some of the history on English development. English is a West Germanic language that originated from the Anglo-Frisian dialects brought to Britain by Germanic invaders and or settlers from various parts of what is now northwest Germany and the Netherlands. Initially, Old English was a diverse group of dialects, reflecting the varied origins of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of Britain. One of these dialects, Late West Saxon, eventually came to dominate. The English language goes through a few changes in the middle ages. The transformation was caused by two further waves of invasion, the first by speakers of the Scandinavian branch of the Germanic language family, who conquered and colonized parts of Britain in the 8th and 9th centuries; the second by the Normans in the 11th century, who spoke Old Norman and ultimately developed an English variety of this called Anglo-Norman. A large number of the modern English vocabulary comes directly from Anglo-Norman. Having a close contact with the Scandinavians gave us a significant result in simplification and enrichment of the Anglo-Frisian the core of English. From the above we now know why English such an interesting language, with such a fascinating history no wonder English rule.
Besides interesting, why exactly English is a fun language? Is learning English is like learning jokes? Well you can say it that way if we are learning about English riddle. Riddles are mostly funny because the answer to those riddle can sometimes be unreasonable or something that you can never imagine can be the answer. Playing with these riddle help to train our brain into thinking more widely and creatively. In other words, it helps our brain but in the same time make us laugh. Phrases can sometimes be fun to learn. Phrases can either be funny, sweet, annoying or beautiful. For example, when you go to bed, the person who is looking forward to tomorrow is happy person or we all live for two purposes, one is to exist the other is to live. Example on funny riddle is ‘what letter in the alphabet has the most water?’ do you know the answer, it is C. C as sea the ocean do you get it. These are the fun parts in English. Learning English is not a waste of time and it can be really helpful in your future. Learn now or never!
Next, why English is important in job requirement? Nowadays, the criteria needed in a worker are excellent in English. Do you know why? This is because most of the paper work is written in English and if you are involved in a business with a foreigner it helps you to communicate with your partner and it is easy to make any business discussion. It is not only important in business but it plays a very important role when interacting with different races, such as Indians with Chinese. It is impossible for them to speak in their own language so; the best solution is for them to interact in English. Do you see how useful English is and why we needed to learn English language? Not only it is useful for interactions and job requirement but in education as well. English is a compulsory subject for the students. The school encourage the students to learn English because they wanted the t have a bright future and be able to study abroad. The more students’ success in their life the more modern our world will be.
In conclusion, English is very important to each and every one of us to have a better future and it is not a waste of time learning English after all. Why English is fun? , why English is important in education, job and communication? And why English is interesting? All of it has been answered and they are all reasonable.
