“To know what you know and what you do not know, that is true knowledge’’. Many people throughout India do not even get an opportunity to study but on the other hand we can see so many people just loafing around in school not bothered to learn but there are so many people interested in studies and have a thirst for knowledge not able to study due to poverty. Pingali Venkayya was one such man. But he never lost heart and became one of the most qualified men in those times. Knowledge is really an important thing throughout one’s life. He was really an educated person always searching for an opportunity to learn something new and do something new for the country. He was always ready to do anything for the country in any circumstances. He showed
Pingali Venkayya not only excelled in studies but also in anything that he undertook. He also contributed in the development of new crop cultivators and in diamond mines. Nothing was impossible when it came to education for India. Shri Pingali Venkayya's life shows us that life is simply not a bed of roses and that we should keep working hard till the end. We Indians should actually be proud that there was such a person who was perfect in almost every field such as agriculture, designing, geology and education.
His selfless service to the nation is a big lesson for our countrymen, leaders, politicians and beurocrats.
In today’s time of large scale corruption, politics in the name of caste, creed, religion and language etc. Pingali Venkayya’s life stands as a reminder to all that we should take inspiration and commit ourselves for selfless service to the nation. We should also involve ourselves to uplift education system in our country and make it available to all irrespective of their financial situation.
Being a developing nation we should also work hard for enhancing our agricultural practices and implement usage of new technologies to ensure that we become a leading nation with capability to support other nations in the world to influence their agricultural
Irrespective of his educational qualification Shri Venkayya has served the nation without getting much in return. This is a lesson for students and educated professionals of our country that being educated brings the responsibility to serve our country also. Lot of our current generation educated professionals are leaving the country in search of higher salary and more luxurious life. Shri Venkayya could have also opted for this kind of life. But he chose to serve the nation and die in utter poverty. Due to great people like Shri Venkayya we are a free nation today. We should learn from his great sacrifices and use our educational and professional capability to uplift the nation and serve nations interest above our own. It was due to his contributions towards the county that we are able to live as an independent country. We should never forget the important role played by him. He taught the nation to work hard. He told the people that when it comes to working for the country one should never expect anything. We should remember all these points and follow them as well. He is truly a role model to me and will always be. I never knew all this about him but have surely learnt something which I thought could have never even existed. We should all work together in building a united nation ,an educated nation
