The world is either supporting or shaming the Dakota Access Pipeline Protesters. I know this because in the illustration they are showing half of it positive and the other half negative. Some examples of this are spraying tear gas vs. taking a picture, frown vs. smile, and tears vs. painted on indian lines.

The target audience is the people in the world that are not colored. The Color of Reality is a Choreographed dance video that shows negative things that have been going on in the black community. In the video people are viewing the men with paint on them, representing the black community, differently because they are covered in paint when they go out to the real world. In the beginning of the video they are showing how they can hear all the negative things going on in the news and wanting to leave the house, but are scared to. Once they leave the house it shows how people view them different by being the only ones covered in paint. At the end of this they are walking down the street and get shot for no reason. After being shot the framing that they used was slowly moving the camera from them laying on the ground in “blood”, to panning it out to the city skyline. They used this camera work I believe to show that this is where they come from and what the world is like. This is also showing how big the world is by comparing where they are to the whole city itself. Throughout the video they were confused as to why people were treating them
