The Pirates of the Caribbean theme song was written by Hans Zimmer and is widely known by most people, similarly to Mozart’s Elein kleine Nachtmusik. Pirates of the Caribbean is a very well-produced movie, therefore it has a very complex theme song. Even though Mozart has many instruments and different variety of music characteristics, he is able to balance different characteristics. Their characteristics range from their meter, melody, rhythm, harmony, texture, and the instruments used in each song.

The Pirates of the Caribbean is an aggressive piece with large and epic crescendos while Mozart’s piece is a mild piece written in the normal Classical form. While some similarities such as the selection of instruments is clear, differences such as the number of said instruments is still clearer. In the end, they are both beautiful pieces. They are written in different styles, from different periods, for different purposes and the number of their differences are much greater than their
