Ask Men magazine is a popular website and magazine that targets the male gender from ages fifteen to about fifty. The magazine and website has many articles of things that men like to talk about. Most of their articles include information about working out, cars, sports, women, sex, fashion, and other manly things. I believe the creators of Ask Men were trying to make an all in one website and magazine for the curious, everyday man. This article touches upon a few important details regarding pit-bulls. The most important is that originally, centuries ago, the American Pit Bull Terrier was bred to fight other dogs in mortal combat. Because of its history, it’s only natural for pit bulls to show more aggression than other breeds of dogs. It is just the dog’s instincts. But with proper training, discipline, and supervision, the pit bull’s harmful aggression could be held to a minimum.

According to this article, no breed of dogs is aggressive to humans by nature. Dogs are only aggressive towards other dogs. All dogs are capable of biting under the right circumstances. The pit bull breed actually passed the American Temperament Testing Society’s test at a score similar too, or even high than some medium to large dogs. Their score was an eighty-nine percent. Compared to Golden Retrievers, who score was eighty-four percent, Great Danes scored at seventy-nine percent and Standard Poodles
