My current job is in the public school system and I have faith and trust in the people who work at BIS. Trust is essential for maintaining a possible relationship with my co-workers, and the student. acquired as one 's appreciation grows. When we have self-respect we create the natural requirement for appreciation. When we appreciate, we are demonstrating self-respect. The two are inseparable - and life without them is not worth living.
How do my Ethic Rate? I aways consider myself as a fair because of my moral and ethical values. After taking the self-assessment quiz , I find this assumption to be correct.
When I compare my scores to the scores of 243 management students, Iwas relatively close.
In fact, in many instances, we had the same answer. For instance, the average person strongly disagree with question number two. The question states that if a person is doing well in business, they do not have to worry about moral problems.
My view on the nature of people is flexible between Theory X and Y, in which I disagree with, I do not assume that all people are lazy and disinterest by nature some human are lazy and dont care about anything but how to get over on the other person. The majority of the workforce have a person that fit Theory X. I am not a Theory X person I am interested in my surrounding and I am definitely not lazy. I agree with McGregors Theory Y. I work with a group of teacher who are responsible, and they look out for the well-being of their co-workers and student.
How sensitive am I to Equity differences? My score indicated that I was a Benevolent, for instance, the fact that Perceive myself as being significantly under paid relative to others against whom I compare myself may have little or no affect on the level of effort on the job. It Have be noted that people in the same occupation tend to hold similar values, as the example given in the book, a study given on management found that they ranked self-respect and security as their top-rated terminal values I also rate self-respect as my top terminal values, and truth and honest as top in the instrumental
section.

I will want to share with society some of the thing I have accomplished in life, peace, and kindness.
I would like to be in the accountant profession, because I will be able to serve society in more than an ordinary way. I will have the responsibility to those I serve, their colleagues, consumers, and creditor.
As an accountant I will participate in public affairs, especially in the area where my assistant is needed the most. I will maintain an intellectual independence and be aware of my responsibility to the public in performing their engagements or services.
As an accountant I will be responsibility for any profession involve support of programs for improving the theory and application of accounting. As an accountant I will act with integrity and in accord with my profession 's code of ethic.
My services as an accountant derive from not only knowledge and experience, but from my personal qualities of perception, imagination and judgments.
I would like to work for a non- profit organization; concentrate on tax matters, such as advising companies about the tax advantages and disadvantages of certain business decisions and preparing individual income tax returns. Offer advice in areas such as compensation or employee health care benefits, the design of accounting and data-processing systems, and the selection of controls to safeguard assets.
Yet, I want to audit clients financial statements and inform investors and authorities that the statements have been correctly prepared and reported. Once I am certified as CPA accountants, Certified Public Accountants, I will open up my own businesses or work.
We live in a Society that is prosperous, inclusive society, where every child has a fair chance to make a good life for themselves and their families.
I would like to live in a good-humored society, where civic life and cultural exchanges are characterized by generosity of spirit. Also, want to live in a society which is confident and dynamic, and which competes successfully in the world across many spheres of activity such as sport and the arts, business and innovation, and education.
The values that govern my behavior are Respect, Responsibility, and Results loyalty, integrity and honest. If I am facing a problem with a student, I honestly inform the principal at my place of employment of the exact nature of the problem to eliminate any misunderstanding. I respect each student right to be involved in any classroom activity.
I accept responsibilities to use my place of employment resource to improve a student learning capabilities. Allow students to take responsibility for their mission, expectation and learning, also act as a role model in a manner that will communicate the mission and expectation of the classroom.
I am making sure my action always match my words because BIS create a safe environment that encourages an exchange of differing views and develops independent thinking. We provide outstanding, timely, and friendly service to students.
Pursuit of academic excellence and freedom of expression the values, and the subsequent culture created by those values, are in place, for better or worse at BIS.
I am generally happy with my working environment; by chance I selected an organization with values congruent with my own. My Boss watches for the connections between what I value and the actions of the other worker in my place of employment. BIS create a safe environment for children to learn and encourage an exchange of differing views and develop independent thinkingBlytheville Intermediate School prides itself on its merit-based pay system. One of my employees has done a great job all year, so he/she thinks that they need to be promoting to another position. However, he/she already far as he/she can go with out further education, beside the school system has too many people in the grade above him/her, so we can 't promote him/her. What should I do?"At first, I will not handle it all, because conflicts among co-workers, students and administrators are understandable aspects of complex relationships. Other people besides me share in the responsibility for controlling conflicts on the jobs.
Secondly, I will try to handle the conflict in a manner that will produce an outcome that will work out for everyone. Are relationships, which means that other people besides you share in the situation, which means that other people besides me share in the responsibility for maintaining the relationships and working out the conflicts that occur in the work place.
Alone, I won 't be able to resolve all the conflicts. Nonetheless, I can handle the conflicts in a way that will increase my own satisfaction with the outcome and manage the relationships you have with all the people in your professional (not to mention your personal) life.
My strategy to deal with the conflict will be rather than just reacting to a situation, I will step back and reassess the situation. Most of the time when one deal with conflict, there is often anger, from one of the parties involved. When people express anger without reassessing the situation, they almost always make things worse. So I, stop, count to ten, take a deep breath, and take a time out anything that will help me think about what just happened rather than rushing in to make everything right.
The strategy I used at home is different from my place of employment at home I use the look approaches a conflict situation that involve facial expressions, tone of voice, pitch, timing, and body tension.
The way I will go a about including changes in management conflict at my place of employment will collaboration, joining forces with others and working things out. Make an effort to collaborate when the relationship is long term and the problems is ongoing, if the goal in which each person is trying to accomplishes is to important to compromise, or want to buy in from both people on the out come.
Creating a culture of conflict awareness and resolution is important to my chosen profession. Knowing how to identify and solve problems will determine whether I am effective in dealing with inevitable conflict or will I leave behind a trail of muddled opportunities and broken relationships.
Once I have categorized the kind of conflicting that I am facing, look for a successful solution. Some may be quick, and some will never have a clear understanding about the effort involved in solving the conflict. I will have to plan ahead and react accordingly.

Immoral behavior Employees at my workplace must clock in and out when arriving for day, taking lunch and leaving. Sometimes when employees are late for work, they say that they have lost their time card (even though they are supposed to keep it in a rack at work when they leave) or will intentionally scratch the magnetic strip on the back of the card so that the EBR will not read it. Getting a new time card has to go through the District so it can take up to five days to get a new one. Some employees when they need to come in to work late for one reason or another, will deface their time card and then they dont have to worry about getting to work exactly on time. Not to mention that they also extend their lunches on these days. Most people would not dream of acting like this, yet others think they are getting away with something and thrive on it.
In the school system employees do not have time clock. A Majority of the employees take advantage of their break time; take two-lunch break, 30 minutes breaks, and they also go home early. They are getting away with it.
Ethical Dilemma - At my job, there is a lot of ethics involved. We have access to patient information and are hired in being told that we cannot look up the medical information of anyone we know. We are supposed to only access the information for those patients we come in contact with and there are safeguards like monitoring for those who do what they are not allowed to do. This is an ethical dilemma after leaving work as well. We cannot discuss whom we talked to and the reason for their call, visit, etcEthical Dilemma: In the school system, we also are told that a student records or confidential. Out side the work area you have people asking what is wrong him/her? Is he/she on medication? Disclosing this can of information is and automatic termination.
State of Our Values ReflectionThe common good is shaped by the moral convictions, personal virtue and active commitment of every person.
The renewal of democracy is not simply a task for others but for each of us. It is the traditional virtue of citizenship that will renew American democracy.
In bringing the virtues and values we seek to uphold in our personal lives into the public arena, we strengthen public life and build a better society.
In the Catholic tradition, citizenship is a virtue; participation in the political process is an obligation. As citizens are not a sect fleeing the world, but a community of faith called to renew the earth.
