Section 3: Place Strategy
The Nexus One was the first device that Google attempted to sell directly. Google is good at a lot of things, but direct sales/marketing/customer service for consumers (for hardware anyway) obviously wasn’t their strongpoint when they released the Nexus One.

Nexus, is not marketed by Google and is seldom marketed by its OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) like Motorola, LG and HTC either. The Devices segment of the Google Play store allows consumers to purchase Google Nexus mobile devices. Google has many options to distribute its Nexus products. But it markets its product only in Play store and all the distribution is done by its OEMs.
Google will announce the release date and the price of Nexus devices by which people can place their orders in most of the website. In India Nexus 6 is available online whereas Nexus 5 is available in most of the retail shops. Nexus 6 was recorded for pre-orders in the US late in October and all variations were accounted for to be sold out within a couple of hours. The story was the same in the UK. In India, introductory stocks were pre-booked within two days. At the point when asked by Economic Times, Flipkart did not impart the quantity of pre-orders. You 'll also be able to buy the Nexus 6 from Motorola 's website where it will in all likelihood cost the same as on Google Play.
The Nexus 6 will be available outside of the US from Google Play stores in Belgium, Australia, France, Canada, India, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom. International carriers that will offer the Nexus 6 include Bell, Vodafone, Rogers, Telus, Hutch, Telcel, CPW, Electronic Partner, SFR, Orange ES, MSH, Vodafone IT, Vodafone ES, Vodafone NL and Claro. The Nexus 6 will also be available from Motorola 's website and retailers like Best Buy and RadioShack in the US.
Unlike in the past where the Nexus devices were advertised just on Google Play store, Google will make the devices accessible

The prospect of entering into the wireless market offers Google many potential growth and development practices as well as competencies. There are also many risks associated with this strategy, including the cost of building and maintaining a billion dollar network. One particular goal that may have been in mind with this decision is the growth of Google’s vast wireless software portfolio that includes Gmail, Maps, Docs, Calendar Sync and various other applications that can be downloaded to many phones. There may have been other reasons Google chose to take interest into the wireless market such as the ownership of Youtube and its developments in a new website and java beta application that allows people to view tens of millions of videos via cell phone.…

The “Constitution of the Baptist Anti-Slavery Society,” formed on December 12, 1839, is a document that gives theological rationale for the organization of this Christian abolitionist society, and more generally for why Christians—particularly Baptists—need to be involved in the abolitionist movement to end slavery. The Constitution is composed of three central parts: 1) an opening statement on the urgent need for the immediate abolition of slavery; 2) nine articles that organizes the practices, structure, and officers of the Society; 3) an address to the Baptist churches of Providence that more fully explains the need and logic of the Society’s purpose.…

In contrast, Androids are designed for more business-centered communication, whereas Apple promotes a more media-centered communication. An example of this is that one of the main features of the iPhone series is their music and gaming capabilities; Androids do also have these features, however, do not highlight them as much. The Android Company was first created in 2003, but was relatively an unknown company until Google bought the company in August of 2005. It is thought that Google was, at the time, planning to enter into the realm of the ‘hand held mobile device’ wars…

Poe's story "The Premature Burial" reflect the terror that the characters suffer from and lead them to be isolated from the society. The use of the single effect in Poe's short stories supports the structure and the actions in the story. The use of the words " premature, horror, interments, buried while alive, entombment" and others support the overall atmosphere, which is full of fear and terror from being not dead yet but buried. According to John Kitterman "The Premature Burial" is a story that "presents the experience of being buried alive from the first-person point of view",The unnamed narrator suffers from the horror of being buried alive. As he says "To be buried while alive is, beyond question, the most terrific of these extremes which…

The culture of the arts took off during Romanticism. In literature there were leading writers like, Wordsworth, Shelley, Keats, and Byron changing how prose was written. In music, composers like, Beethoven, Wagner, Chopin, and Tchaikovsky were making their romantic impact in music. Romanticism could even be seen in paintings by: Gros, Goya, and Delacroix. However, the biggest cultural impact seen during this time is the invention of the folklore. Hobsbawm believes, “The Folk’ could be revolutionary concept, especially among oppressed peoples about to discover or reassert their national identity, particularly those which lacked a native middle class or aristocracy. (266, Hobsbawm, The Age of Revolution). These folk stories and songs were extremely…

First of all, a wide range of Google-based smartphones and tablets is available at the most electronic retailers. All devices vary from their brand, display, camera and materials they made with. It means that we can find two completely different brands, for example, which one of them will be bigger in display size, whereas another will have relatively slower processor; in fact, they will run identically the same operating system. Unlike with the Android, the whole line of iOS phones and tabloids is differentiated by color and capacity only. It means that for the most part all features are the same. However, radically thin and light design of the latest Apple products catches buyers’ eyes for its grace, elegance and supreme shape regardless of limited choice.…

One of the flaws to this type of device is security, because even though Apple and Google try to enhance their security, they could not avoid hacks and malwares among their apps. Since apps are softwares being used in smartphones, there could be many possibilities that this would be an avenue for hackers to place malwares to attack the users. To support my aforementioned statement, based from the article it was said that “apps are one avenue for security breaches.” I believe that smartphones would be much vulnerable when it comes to security.…
