Plagiarism is something people learn about from a very young age, in elementary school teachers say not to copy others, in high school they say it’s important to cite sources. But plagiarism shouldn’t be treated so casually, plagiarism can seriously impact the careers of people like graduate students if they are accused of using another person’s idea for their thesis.
