Planning in Management
To manage we need to plan . In planning , we also need to know how to manage the planning . Why planning is important for management ?
• All activities are specifically planning to achieve the goals and objectives of its mandate .
• We plan to overcome or reduce the expected / assumed to arise . Planning also ensures that all management activities are made systematically.
• Planning is the process by which a person makes a decision on the objectives to be achieved and how it is ensuring that these objectives to be achieved effectively .
• Planning is also an intellectual process , determination and intelligent action based on the results of the purpose , knowledge and estimation ( estimation ) high .
The importance of planning is to determine :
• Where an acceptable idea ?
• What can be added to this idea ?
• What should be rejected?
• What are the alternatives to choose from ? What is our priority ?
Through our planning will also be able to:
• Make decisions and get certainty about the strategies to be used to achieve the objectives set .
• Determine and allocate the resources ( human, financial , physical and technical ) .
• Identify forms of control and surveillance to ensure specified objectives are achieved.
Through careful planning we will be able to :
• Determine what , when, who , how , why and where an activity or action that should be implemented.
• Identify objectives and prescribe methods to perform each activity in management.
• Collecting and analyzing information in order to make sound management decisions .
• Looking for alternatives or options when making the decision to an action or activity .
• Prepare and linking planning decisions that have been made .
