Abstract
This experiment was conducted to determine whether or not those plants can grow in low fertilized, less sun light and the control group. Each group had there own task of making sure that the plants were always water, each plant had the same amount of light on them. When the plants started to evolve each individual plant was measured of the height. Most of the plants grew faster than others but over the period the plants that grew faster started to slow down while the others caught up to them. Some of the seeds wouldn’t grow fully, they will just freeze the growing and eventually stop evolving.
Introduction
The purpose of the lab was to record and notice the growth of the plants from all the different variation, like the low fertilizer, control, shaded group. There should be certain information that could help them grow fast. Water became the biggest part of this experiment. Some days the plants wouldn’t have been watered, that would have changed the data a large amount because if all the other plants were watered and the other plant specimens weren’t then that would mean that they have a higher chance of growing fast and stronger. some positive regulators of photomorphogenesis. This means that the light source is being controlled by a less light source to help the plant grow.
Although plant growth have treatments altered the seed demand for resources, they failed to improve productivity. Plant growth regulator treatments also failed to influence capsule anatomy, reduce capsule dehiscence, or improve seed retention. So the whole question during this experiment was to understand why the growth of the plants took so long and what happens if you feed them less and show them less light? The predictions came up as that the plants will take longer with out these essentials that are needed. Some predictions came across and they won’t get as tall as if they were growing outside.
But the main question is why? Why do some plants need light and some don’t? Why if starved from water will it stays small? Why do they need these items to survive that are the main question?
Materials and Methods All of the supplies were gathered. All of the seeds were randomly chosen to be placed in the holders and the numbers of the seeds were all different. Each seed was watered every day and night with tap water. While seeds were placed into the holders, they were put into the soil about 1 cm beneath the surface containing the soil. The other set of trays for the low fertilizers, and the control group were all prepared in the same way. All the fertilized plants were placed underneath the light to simulate the suns rays, and the climate. The plants were exposed to the light 24/7 as well as air conditioning; all of the plants were watered lightly daily. After a couple of days the plants showed signs of growth.
Each plant had grown at different rates; some didn’t grow for about another couple of days. Couple days have passed, the plants were all growing rapidly, each time the data was recorded of the height and how long the leaves were, while making sure the water capacity was up to check. Then through out the time of watching the plants grow the measurements bigger, while watching, leaves came to show as well as buds and some yellow flowers started to bloom. More of the plants became more delicate to handle and some leaves would fall off, showing that they might not be getting enough water. Always make sure your data is correct as well as watering the plants and watching the changes
happen. Materials used were:
1. 2 sets of pods with 6 holders within and a hole in the bottom
2. Wet pad to keep underneath the plants
3. Sunflower seeds (at least 6 seeds in each pod)
4. Fertilizer seeds (at least 4 seeds in each pod)
5. Planting soil (enough to fill the pod)
6. Heating lamp (cover all the groups plants)
7. Shade pads (to cover the shaded groups plants to give there plants less light)
8. Water

The results of this experiment showed that in each table has shown existential growth but control groups plants didn’t grow as much as it was needed. As many parts of this experiment there may have been scientific errors that could have affected the growth of the flowers and the outcome of the experiment. The variables affecting the results may have been that they didn’t get enough water everyday or the lack of fertilizers or even seed placed within the pods. Scientific errors that could have occurred and affected the results include, not enough fertilizers put into plant and neglected from water.

Discussion The main question was why do plants need sunlight, water, fertilizer and air to survive? Research has been done to provide us with answers of why. Researchers say that some plants can survive without light, water, and air. But most of them won’t survive for long, because plants survive by processing red and blue ray 's other wise known as photosynthesis. The sunlight not only provides the proper color spectrum, warmth and radiation the plant needs it also carries enough lumens to produce maximum growth. The water is a solvent for biochemical reactions, and is produced by many biochemical reactions. Water flow helps transport mineral nutrients through the plant and helps support the plant, therefore plants deprived of water wilt. About 95% of water absorbed by most plants is evaporated from the leaves because the stomata must be open to let in carbon dioxide needed for photosynthesis. Plants need fertilizers to get more nutrients, in addition of the correct quantity of fertilizers can encourage healthy production of growth while an extreme fertilizer application can reduce plant health and also lead to decline and death. Going over this data, some new things that could be changed is that water should be about ever 5 hours to see if changes have occurred to see if the seeds will show more action when in growing. The light could have changed to try and actually match the rays of how hot the sun is. All of these suggestions could be new news to try out on another experiment. More research should be put into of why do plants need us to survive? I have always asked this question of if humans or anmials didn’t exist would the planet live. Could the planet live without heat, snow, and even rain? Most of these questions others have or even researchers and professor should be looked into sometime within the future.
